Tomie Tells It as It Is

Article excerpt

Fifth book of junior authors & illustrators, edited by Sally Holmes Holtze, H. W. Wilson, 1983 (0-8242-0694-0), $30. Tomie de Paola is one of 243 juvenile-book writers and illustrators described in loving detail within this resource. In addition to the sketch excerpted below, the entry for dePaola contains a factual biography, and a list of works by and about. The Wilson book is part of the ongoing junior authors and illustrators series.
