WRCB reported out of East Ridge, Tennessee, that an ex-boyfriend with a checkered past ended up on the receiving end of a bullet. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on February 9, but it had apparently been building for a while. Two women had moved into a house a few months prior to the incident, and were later joined by a male occupant. George Miles, the distraught ex-boyfriend of one of the women, was incensed at the man's presence in the house and argued with him at a nearby Walmart a day before the shooting. The male occupant claimed that Miles even threatened to show up at the house and kill him. True to his word, Miles showed up in the early hours of the morning and broke a window. As Miles climbed through the broken window, he was reported to have shouted, "I'm going to kill you!"

The male occupant didn't give him the opportunity, though, as he fixed his gun, hitting Miles in the upper torso once. …
