2013 Study Abroad Grants

Article excerpt

Study Abroad Grants help undergraduates, whether members or nonmembers, who seek knowledge and experience by venturing afield. Fifty $1,000 grants (two named) are distributed. This year, 670 applicants competed for them, an increase of more than 82 percent from last year's 367 entrants. Including 2013, 554 students have earned Study Abroad Grants totaling $554,000 since the program began in 2001.

It takes S20,000 to endow a Study Abroad Grant. 'School attended also indicates Phi Kappa Phi chapter membership.
