TV vs. the Stream Team

Article excerpt

Viewing habits show traditional TV networks still reign supreme, but video services like Netflix and Amazon Prime are catching up--especially with younger viewers.

Despite your Netflix binge-watching episodes, TV remains the medium of choice for viewing programming

YouGov interviewed about 20,000 U.S. consumers over the age of 18 during a 12-week period ending March 31, to find out which networks and streaming services they watched shows on in the last month. They compared this data to the 12-week period that ended Dec. 31.

YouGov's scores range from 100 to -100 and are compiled by subtracting negative feedback from positive. A zero score means equal positive and negative feedback.

Current Viewing Habits

TV networks still enjoy a significant lead when it comes to adults who
watched in the past 30 days. But scores are much lower among
18-34-year-olds.
