This book espouses the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a panacea for teens troubled by anger issues. It differs from a standard self help tome because it uses an edgy and appealing graphic novel format to attract an adolescent audience. The reader is introduced to an aggressive Andy as he blasts his fist towards them in a lightning style flash while gritting his teeth. He strikes out at his family and friends because he feels that his life sucks. He is dressed in dark clothing to reflect his mood, a contrast to the bright colours worn by people around him. After a morning full of nasty altercations where he hurts everyone who cares about him, he becomes enveloped in a grey fog on a walk to the beach. This is symptomatic of his confusion about why he is acting the way he is. Suddenly, he is confronted by a green mud monster who blocks his escape. As he attempts to attack it, he falls into a deep pit.

What does the monster signify and what is the purpose of the strange Sea Eagle who suddenly appears through the mist? What is the meaning of the pile of junk that Andy is compelled to use as armour? Does he have the strength to move on and come to terms with his situation? From this point the reader is taken on a journey through Andy's psyche as his mysterious guide communicates a step by step approach to identifying and managing his emotions before they cause him harm. …
