These three method books from Mel Bay publications are delivered in a center staple soft cover format (11.75 by 8.75 inches) and include an audio CD. All present the content in both standard and TAB notation. All have full color glossy covers with black and white text and graphics inside.

20 Easy Classical Uke Pieces For Kids, by Rob MacKillop, includes standard classical repertoire and a few surprises such as "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin and "Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen." The appealing arrangements feature a campanella style using the higher octave 4th string to play melodies. Only eight of the pieces are restricted to rhythmic values of eighth notes and larger, and virtually all of those eight pieces include dotted rhythms and syncopations. Other pieces include sixteenth note and triplet passages. Fingerings, position or chords are not included. Some composers are featured in short biographies.
