The lowdown
The Diploma is a challenging two-stage marketing qualification with a focus on the strategic aspects of marketing management.
The course aims to enable marketers to champion the customer experience, contribute along with other directors and senior managers to a firm's competitive strategy, and manage its marketing activities. It is aimed at marketers who have already gained a significant level of knowledge and/or experience. Course units include emerging themes, analysis and decision, marketing leadership and planning and managing corporate reputation.
Who is it suited to?
This programme is designed for aspiring marketers who want to add academic rigour and theory to their experience and learn from cutting-edge practitioners. Candidates ideally should have completed a CIM Diploma or another marketing-related qualification; however, the Marketers' Forum also places a greater emphasis on professional experience at this level.
And another thing...
It's possible to qualify within one to two years by studying part-time, with assessment blending formal examination and assignments.
