The Daily Mail reported on September 16 about an odd story out of Prairie Township, Ohio, where an intruder ended up having a childhood connection to a resident. Thirty-seven-year-old Heather Tackett was home with her 17-year-old son when she heard strange noises in the middle of the night, so she grabbed her handgun and went to investigate. She walked into her son's room to see a masked intruder standing over her son sleeping in bed. The intruder was wearing an Insane Clown Posse mask, a demented clown mask from a Detroit-based rap group, and holding a knife in his hands. Tackett screamed at the intruder to drop the knife, but the suspect did not respond, so she fired her .38-caliber revolver.

At the time, she didn't think she hit the suspect, who immediately fled the scene, but her shot did hit the mark. The now-injured masked intruder fled into the arms of three friends who were outside the home acting as lookouts. …
