Anne Scarcella, CCE, credit manager and corporate accountant at Windsor Door in Little Rock, AR, started her trade credit career in the Houston area in the late 1990s. Though she held a job that covered various accounting areas, Scarcella said she was always drawn to credit and collections. Earlier this decade, already well into her 17-plus years at Raw Materials Corp., the NACM Gulf States member felt compelled to take her knowledge and job performance to the next level by pursing NACM educational offerings and designations.

What made you enroll in NACM education classes/started your path toward designations?

I felt I could expand my knowledge in credit and collections as well as make sure I was complying with all of the laws and regulations that have an effect on the credit and collection process. Luckily, I had a boss who was very supportive.

What was your experience with NACM's designation process?

The best! I have recommended to so many that they take NACM classes and get their designations. I think most would agree that NACM education and certifications are a great investment. …
