Spring is known as a time of renewal. Especially for those of us subject to cold winters, spring brings new energy as we gear up for summer activities. It's also the perfect time to start working on your plans for Park and Recreation Month. With a super cool theme, we're extra excited about July 2016.

This year, we are challenging everyone to discover their super powers at their local parks and recreation facilities. To help, the Park and Rec Brigade--Captain Community, the Fit Twins and the Green Guardian--will be showing everyone the superpowers that can be discovered by visiting local parks and recreation facilities.

We've already got lots of great materials ready for you to use and many more on the way. To help you plan and promote your Park and Recreation Month activities, NRPA provides:
