Kenny Wine, CCE, director of credit south/east at Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc., began his distinguished career in commercial credit in 1995. During meetings of the NACM-National board of directors at the 120th Credit Congress & Expo in Las Vegas, he was named NACM-National chairman-elect-elect and will serve in the position starting in 2018 with an eye on rebranding, creative membership outreach and greater engagement with Millennial.

What made you enroll in NACM education classes/start your path toward designation?

For me, it's all about continuing to learn. I don't think any of us can go through life being stale. This was a natural progression to enhance not only the company's goals but my personal goals as well. The better you are and better decisions you make, the more profitable your company is and you are. I would tell anyone thinking about NACM education offerings, "step in and take the leap." If work won't pay for it, there are scholarships out there. …
