Toro earned a bachelor s from the University of Puerto Rico, a master's from the University of Michigan and a doctorate from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

KIMBERLY GOLD has been appointed president of Robeson Community College in North Carolina. She was executive vice president and chief academic officer at Isothermal Community College in North Carolina. Gold earned a bachelor's from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MBA from Western Carolina University and a doctorate from Appalachian State University.

ROD PAIGE has been named interim president of Jackson State University. He is a former U.S. Secretary of Education. Paige received a bachelor's from Jackson State, and a master's and a doctorate from Indiana University.

KELLY QUINTANILLA has been appointed interim president of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, effective January 1. She is provost and vice president for academic affairs at the university. Quintanilla earned a bachelor's from the University of Pittsburgh, and a master's and a doctorate from Pennsylvania State University.

ELLIOT CHEU has been named interim honors dean at the University of Arizona. He was associate dean of the College of Science and a professor of physics at Arizona. Cheu earned a bachelors from Stanford University and a doctorate from Cornell University. …
