Eat your heart out Humphrey Bogart, Pigeon P.I. is out on the mean streets cleaning up crime. From beginning to end, this is a perfect piece of Hollywood Noir. Every page--both print and picture--must be carefully scrutinised to get the full effect.

The story starts with our hero--Murray MacMurray--in a Big Sleep. Enter the beautiful, yet vulnerable, broad with the pert beret and the sad tale; trip to the city, missing friends--blah, blah, blah. Of course, he won't help, but weeks later, when the broad turns up on a missing person poster, he can't stop himself. We follow the pigeon into danger, encounter many a red herring and end up experiencing the White Heat of a gangster's lair before we say Farewell My Lovely.
