As a rule, Geographical has never really touched space, and we're all well aware of the terra-based etymology of the word that makes up our discipline. But while 'up there' isn't traditionally a geographer's beat, it's becoming increasingly hard to turn a blind eye to that final frontier, as those with exceedingly deep pockets and ambitions to match seek to colonise the great expanse beyond our atmosphere. While it may well be true that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few (or the one), it's the 'many' that are likely to be the ones affected the most by what happens when humanity returns to celestial bodies such as the Moon.
