What Color Is Your iMac

Article excerpt

In a quandary over which of the new fruit-flavored iMac computers to buy? Here we present the Educators' Personality Color Guide to take the guesswork out of your purchase.

Official polls show that while educators are tickled pink--wait, make that mango--over the colorful iMacs unveiled by Apple CEO Steve Jobs at January's Macworld, a disturbing wave of indecision and confusion has ensued. Though your colleagues are always happy to see you coming, the administrators lack their appreciation and often dream of bludgeoning you with the Shop teacher's wooden potty pass. Your iMac will come in handy as a teleprompter for jokes that occurred to you while in the tanning booth.

* Grape--You're deeply passionate about a number of things and technology is one of them. For you, it's a total immersion thing. Your life is filled with cell phones, scanners, laptops, PalmPilots and the latest software. You wash your hands with Kai's Power Soap, consult Decisions Decisions about what to have for lunch, and use Where in the Worm Is Carmen Sandiego to find your way around town. …
