HUD Will Help Manage Teen Aggression

Anyone who thinks the Department of Housing and Urban Development, or HUD, is just about sticks and bricks should take a closer look at the international activism and domestic social engineering going on under Secretary Andrew Cuomo. His latest foray into the feel-good field is the formation of the "Peacemaker Corps." It's described by HUD as "a new youth-education program designed to foster cultural and racial tolerance among high-school students." It will, according to the propaganda, "teach differences, how to manage aggression and positive alternatives to violence."

"Senseless acts of violence and hatred by young people are a tragedy for everyone involved and for all Americans," Cuomo said, in announcing the new program. "We need programs like the Peacemaker Corps to teach young people racial and cultural tolerance and to show them how to resolve disagreements without violence." Say what? That's the kind of trendy windbaggery expected of a president or maybe a member of Congress, but what's the deal with the HUD secretary getting into the act? …
