TLC Unveils Library*Solution Version 2.0, Announces Enhancements to ITS*For Windows

The Library Corporation (TLC) has announced the release of version 2.0 of Library*Solution, its library automation system, as well as enhancements to the company's ITS*forWindows product.

Library*Solution Version 2.0

Version 2.0 includes such upgrades as computerized inventory control using a hand-held scanner, an enhanced Oracle database-management facility that provides increased search performance plus new advanced searching options with artificial intelligence, support for new self-checkout protocols, the ability for patrons to review their library accounts online, and the option for librarians to offer cataloged community information resources.
