Bryan Albrecht, known for his speeches on school-to-work, will be the Business Education Division keynote speaker at the ACTE Annual Convention and Trade Show, held Dec. 12-15 in Orlando, Fla. Albrecht will speak on "Preparing for the Millennium Thinker" on Dec. 12 during the opening session for the Business Education Division. November is National Education for Business Month, sponsored by the National Business Education Association (NBEA). The purpose of the month is to promote business education for all students, regardless of their career goals. * Business Education National Hall of Fame

The nominations process is open for the Business Education National Hall of Fame. The National Hall of Fame honors leaders in business education who have passed away in recent years. Nominations, which are taken on even years, are due Feb. 1. To qualify, a nominee must have been an active business educator who contributed significantly to the field. A ceremony to honor the inductees is held in the fall at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, home to the Hall of Fame since 1995. (From 1977 to 1994 the Hall of Fame was located at Rider College in Trenton, N.J.)
