Chadwyck-Healey Releases IIBP

Chadwyck-Healey has announced the immediate availability of its newest Web resource, International Index to Black Periodicals Full Text (IIBP Full Text). According to the announcement, IIBP Full Text provides instant access to journal-article citations from 150 scholarly and popular journals in black studies. The product also includes the full text of 25 key scholarly journals from 1998 to the present.

"Chadwyck-Healey has made a commitment to providing high-quality reference tools to aid black studies scholarship. For IIBP Full Text, we worked with an advisory board for more than a year to select those journals that make the biggest contribution to the field," said publisher Karen Bacon. "And, by focusing specifically on black studies, we have been able to include titles that are not indexed anywhere else."

IIBP Full Text addresses a growing demand for international and interdisciplinary research in the humanities. It facilitates studies in disciplines as varied as art and economics to language and sociology. Thousands of potential research questions can be addressed, such as changing education systems in sub-Saharan Africa, health care in Haiti, or the role of Christianity in the African-American community. …
