Asia Pulse Launches Content Set from South Asia

Asia Pulse, Asia's regional information company, has announced the release of a new electronic content package containing the national newswires of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The package of 100,000 words and 320 stories per day contains the news output from The Press Trust of India (PTI), Pakistan Press International (PPI), and United News of Bangladesh (UNB).

"These new South Asia sources have never been seen before on databases or electronic information services," said Chris Pash, chief executive of Asia Pulse, a 20-year veteran of news agency journalism and a pioneer in content creation in Asia.
