I have always wanted to go to Hawaii, mostly because I wanted to see the hula dancers. I wanted to get up on stage with them and dance. When we went to the Luau. I got up on stage with my mom, cousin Amanda, and Aunt Melba to learn how to hula, which is not easy for me. This was the best part of my vacation. I also liked the beautiful beach and they had a great big swimming pool at the hotel where we stayed. We spent most of our day at the poll. I would say this vacation was a dream come true.

In the December 1997 issue of Exceptional Parent magazine, Bubblicious[R] chewing gum and the organization Wing & Wheels Inc., a greeting card company which features individuals with special needs, announced a drawing contest for children with special needs. Contestants had to be between the ages of 6 and 17, and the drawing had to be a picture of a location anywhere in the United States. If selected as the Grand Prize Winner, the artist and his or her immediate family would win a vacation to that spot.

One hopeful contestant was budding artist, Bianca Andrews of Newark, New Jersey. …
