The Secret Is out! Check out Who Won Big at the 149th Congress of Correction

One if by land, two if by sea" was the secret message used by the patriots on April 18, 1775 in Boston to alert which route the British took to Concord. However, on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019 in Boston, it was no secret who won the variety of grand prizes that the 149th Congress of Correction had to offer. Both Captain James Galberth, Oregon Bureau of Prisons, Sheridan, Oregon, and Joe Ryan, ACA Compliance Director from Newark, New Jersey, walked away with brand-new iPads. There was much anticipation for the drawing of the first place grand prize, a 2019 Chevy Cruz, but only one could claim it, and it was Melissa Young, President of the Louisiana Correctional Association from Lake Charles, Louisiana, who "drove off into the sunset" in her brand-new car!

The grand prize giveaway was not the only chance for attendees to win at this conference. Patricia Blanco, Vice President of Clinical Services, CURA Inc., from Union, New Jersey, won the Gondles Bear, a favorite ACA tradition. …
