Helen Cooper recently quit as International marketing director at Yardley to set up her own web-based marketing consultancy. It is her first venture outside a big brand name since she joined Avon Cosmetics as a sales trainer in 1986. She moved into NPD and marketing and worked at M&S before Joining Yardley

This sample is very different from those usually receive. This writer doesn't fit the usual profile. She is precision incarnate (no undotted i's or uncrossed t's in this sample), modest and consistent.

She's no pushover, but she seems not to have any axes to grind, any yearning for applause or need to have her ego stroked. She is detail-conscious and dislikes lack of completion; either a thing is or it isn't, and if it isn't done and dusted then it isn't! Don't expect her to go along with the 'it'll do way of thinking, because she won't. It is not that she lacks spontaneity, but that she adheres to the principle that if a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well. …
