Procter & Gamble, the AA and M&G Financial Services have signed up for a two month trial on Carlton Active, the broadcaster's interactive ads platform.

The ads were launched on Canton's two digital channels, Canton Food Network and Canton Cinema, on ONdigital this week.

Viewers watching the AA ad can calculate the cost of travel insurance depending on the destination, duration and number of people. Viewers of P&G's Max Factor ad can view all products used in the ad with a price guide and are given the chance to win [pounds]5 redeemable vouchers.

The ads will appear six times a day in the last-in-break position. Viewers can press a button on their ONdigital TV remote to gain more information about the products and services on otter. Canton will target advertisers in the display and classified revenues of the print media by offering a wide range of branding, sales promotion and direct response opportunities via the Active platform.

Dairy products manufacturer Onken has already signed up for an interactive sponsorship of Antony's Morocco, which is presented by celebrity chef Antony Worral-Thompson on Carlton Food Network. …
