E-Spin Offers Electronic Version of the Bell Atlantic Yellow and White Pages on CD-ROM

Bell Atlantic has announced that businesses and consumers looking for an electronic resource with the same information as the Bell Atlantic Yellow and White Pages can now turn to e-spin, a CD-ROM version of the printed directories. Introduced at the 2000 National Online Meeting in New York, e-spin is now available for the Bell Atlantic Yellow Pages in selected markets, including Troy, NY; Albany, NY; Manhattan; and Washington, DC.

According to the announcement, e-spin provides users with the same telephone numbers, addresses, and advertisements as Bell Atlantic's printed Yellow and White Pages in the same format with which consumers are already familiar. The CD-ROM version, however, has viewing capabilities that allow users to zoom in and out--up to 175 percent.
