The explosion in further education means there are so many more graduates to choose from when putting together marketing communication teams.

This in turn means that recruiting high-calibre graduates forms a very important part of a company's recruitment policy.

As a graduate myself, I know how important it is to get a solid grounding in the basics of a career from the very start.

Undergraduates are invariably unaware of the great business potential of promotional marketing as a career path, and the variety of disciplines it offers. By providing support for undergraduates, we are supporting our industry and helping them gain the experience that so often helps them find that elusive first job.

By working closely with universities and colleges, we have developed a work placement programme for students. We believe this helps them develop skills and gain more confidence in the work environment.

Our training scheme is disciplined, but fun, as students are set goals and targets. …
