Harriet Rhys Williams began her career in management consultancy at McKinsey, but after two years she joined Rank Hovis McDougall. A car crash forced her to give up working 1997, but in 1998 she began working on her own business within the group. The Enjoy Organic Company began trading in June.

This woman is enthusiastic, exuberant and demonstrative. Her writing is big, beautiful and exciting to know. And the writer isn't far behind either. To describe her as larger than life has to be the understatement of the year. She is positively bursting with ideas and energy.

She favours spontaneity and free expression, lives very much in the here and now, and adores the spotlight. Which makes my next observation a bit of a puzzle. This writer needs no criticism as she provides a constant stream of self-criticism for herself.

She reminds me of a wild pony running free. Incarcerate her and she would almost cease to be. She is an idealist, a communicator, and an infectious persuader. …
