Company claims it is the first complete curriculum package available on the Web.

CCC's new product, SuccessMaker Internet, will use the Internet to deliver and manage the company's curriculum. According to the company, SMi is the only Internet solution providing a complete K-8 curriculum with full reporting and assessment capabilities. Because it is hosted by CCC's server, SMi offers educators, students and parents anytime, anywhere access that extends across the school and into the home. CCC's customizable learning solutions are correlated to national standards and objectives to deliver measurable achievement in learning.

Results Manager, a management and assessment system developed for the Internet is at the heart SMi. The management system resides on a CCC server and tracks students' work and progress, and schools can run selected SuccessMaker courseware from their own local area network, or from the local student station using a SuccessMaker CD-ROM or DVD.

This "hybrid" model allows educators to take advantage of the simplicity and flexibility of the Internet while benefiting from the company's multimedia and graphics, and the new program will enhance teacher's effectiveness by providing easy and extended access to CCC's content, activities, and educational resources.

SMi will also provide teachers with more than 4,000 hours of SuccessMaker's reading/language arts and math curriculum. Because SMi's management system is hosted by CCC, www.ccclearn.com, teachers can conduct lesson planning, customize instruction and track students' progress from anywhere, including the classroom, library, teachers' lounge or home. Results Manager's reporting system enables teachers to easily keep administrators and parents apprised of student's progress.

"SuccessMaker Internet enables schools, even those with minimum technology readiness, to take advantage of the Internet now, to create anytime, anywhere learning, to access the deepest, richest curriculum on the market now and to get measurable-results now," says Beth Wray, CCC's CEO. …
