Andy McQueen started in media sales at Express Newspapers. He moved to Readers Digest in 1991 where he was publisher of Moneywise magazine, general manager of its financial services and new media businesses, and circulation director of the RD magazine. He is currently marketing and PR director of TheStreet.co.uk, which he launched in February 2000.

There is a manifestation in this writing I have never seen before, which is rather meaningful as I have been doing this for some 30 years.

This writer can and does stand firm in the face of opposition. People with this capability are usually not the most flexible individuals. However, he is flexible. What seems to happen is that rather than taking a particular stance and sticking to it, he comes up with such a wide range of options that he is perceived as being entirely flexible and open-minded. (Let me tell you a secret-all of those options will in actuality lead to his achieving what he wants).

I would not exactly describe him as Machiavellian, but I think his record of achieving his goals will be rather higher than most people's. …
