One of the hottest trends in family travel is "learning vacations"--trips that combine travel with education, making for an enriching, fun-filled time for all. During this presidential election year, families can learn about the accomplishments of four past presidents through the Discover Presidential Log Cabins program. This multi-faceted program includes actual log cabin renovations, an archeological dig, an interactive Web site and excursions to three National Parks, bringing America's past to life.

The Discover Presidential Log Cabins program details the lives and accomplishments of four of our nation's greatest leaders who became president of the United States. Each of them spent time in log cabins. Families will learn how great leaders from the 18th and 19th centuries experienced defining moments in log cabins and how their actions influence our nation today.
