Thomson & Thomson Enhances Trademark Search Services

Article excerpt

Thomson & Thomson (T&T), a provider of trademark and copyright services, has announced the launch of enhanced services that make its comprehensive trademark research even faster. Under Thomson & Thomson's new industry standard, clients will now receive T&T's U.S. Full Availability Trademark Search in 4 business days instead of 5--at no additional cost. The U.S. Full Availability Search, a comprehensive search of proposed trademarks against U.S. federal, state, and common law trademarks, as well as domain names, provides the information needed to form opinions about trademarks that will be used or registered in the U.S.

According to a recent independent survey, Thomson & Thomson was rated the best trademark services firm among professionals who have used more than one research tool. According to the announcement, more than 90 percent of T&T's customers were extremely satisfied with the U.S. Full Availability Search, with 92 percent of those surveyed rating the reliability of information as "excellent."

"As the trusted market leader in trademark services, we understand the intense time pressure our clients face in determining their global intellectual property risk," said Jay Gast, president of Thomson & Thomson. "Enhancing the delivery of our U.S. Full Availability Search is another demonstration of Thomson & Thomson's ongoing commitment to partner with our customers in order to provide the most comprehensive trademark services available. …
