The judges were as enthused about Wired Worlds as the staff who run the exhibit and the customers who visit. As a result it won the category head and shoulders above the rest. What particularly impressed the panel was the effect the design had on everyone involved in the project -- it was clearly an inspiration and has been instrumental in boosting staff morale.

Met Studio's brief was to create a new exhibit at the museum that would explore and pioneer new subject matter. It would have to be aimed at people of all ages, of varying interests, with the end result of attracting more visitors to the museum. The new exhibit would form the centrepiece of the museum's new wing.

Working closely with the museum's in-house team, Met Studio Design set about developing Wired Worlds, a permanent gallery that examines all aspects of digital media in innovative, exciting and unusual ways.
