Jigsaw Selects Publicis Arm for Voila! Relaunch

The Jigsaw Consortium has ended its relationship with Citrus Publishing and hired Publicis Blueprint, the French advertising giant's contract publishing arm, to relaunch its Viola! customer magazine.

The title will be revamped, with the launch of an online version, most probably next year, and content more closely tailored to customers' profiles.

The relationship marketing group, which comprises Cadbury Trebor Bassett, Kimberly-Clark and Unilever, wants to see the publication move onto the next level as a relationship marketing tool.

Jigsaw says the circulation of Viola! will remain at one million and will continue to be published three times a year.

The appointment of Publicis Blueprint terminates a three-year tie between Jigsaw and Citrus Publishing. Liz Harlow, general manager of Jigsaw, said the split had been amicable.

"We have seen great results from Viola! in terms of the effect on consortium brands, and we are now looking to drive strategic development of this crucial relationship marketing vehicle," she said. …
