In the tradition of The Women, Valley of the Dolls, and What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? comes These Old Broads, an eagerly awaited diva blowout premiering on ABC February 12. Sort of a femme spin on Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys, the film stars Debbie Reynolds, Shirley MacLaine, and Joan Collins as three veteran actresses who can't stand each other but find themselves reuniting for a musical TV special at the behest of Elizabeth Taylor (playing a Sue Mengers-ish superagent). Handling writing chores is none other than Carrie Fisher, Reynolds's daughter (and ar fair actress in her own right), who will no doubt bring some Postcards From the Edge--style showbiz cattiness to the mix.
