Tony Wawryk is vice-president, sales and marketing, at UPCtv, the television channel creation, marketing and distribution arm of broadband communications company United Pan-Europe Communications. He started his career in the motor industry with British Leyland.

The great persuader! Here we have an ultimate master of getting people to do what he wants them to do. I suspect this man has more than a passing interest in the way people's minds work, judging by his ability to bend others to his will. Credit where it is due though, he drives himself as hard as--if not harder than -- others.

The scimitar-like tail on the 'y' in the word 'occasionally' show she does nothing by halves. I also note that his sharp mind seizes upon error and exaggeration without hesitation.

He likes to strip things down to their basic components and then rebuild them into a stronger structure. Goal-oriented in the extreme, his sights are firmly fixed on what will be and not on what might be. …
