The housing market may still be buoyant, but the goldrush days of the home interest sector are well and truly over, according to the latest set of ABCs. Six of the top ten titles have registered circulation falls in the six months from July to December last year.

IPC Media's Homes and Ideas suffered the largest year-on-year drop with a 32.2% fall in circulation. On July to December figures the title has picked up slightly, however, registering a modest 0.6% increase.

The top three titles retained their positions, but all three saw slumps in circulation, with NatMags' House Beautiful and BBC Homes and Antiques both registering 4.7% falls between July and December and 10.1% and 12% respectively over the year.

IPC Media's Ideal Home kept the top spot in a crowded market, but its lead over House Beautiful reduced after a 9.9% period-on-period decrease and a 9.7% fall over the year.
