Satellite TV Venture Tailored for Conservatives

America has a new cable channel that could reinvent the way the conservative political message is delivered. The Renaissance Network, which went on the air Jan. 8 -- 24 hours a day, seven days a week -- is a project of Atlanta-based media maven Vincent Castelli and conservative analyst Armstrong Williams.

With a mix of live, original and pretaped programming, the network will broadcast from the revamped studios of the old America's Voice channel, which has been dormant after a financial collapse earlier this year. "This is a rebirth, and one with cutting-edge technology and an expanded vision," says Williams.

The lineup is sure to warm any conservative heart. Williams will host two live programs -- The Right Side and On Point -- centered on commentary, live talk and call-ins. Paul Weyrich, president of the Free Congress Foundation, and Judicial Watch President Larry Klayman also will host hourlong forays into the topic du jour. …
