Adobe Systems, Inc. has announced the release of the Adobe Acrobat eBook Reader 2.1, which features Adobe CoolType font-rendering technology, a two-page layout feature, and a built-in interactive dictionary. Adobe Acrobat eBook Reader 2.1 for Windows as well as the Macintosh beta version are available for download at no charge from the Adobe.com Web site at http://www.adobe.com/products/ebookreader/main.html. The Windows version is also available from barnesandnoble.com's eBookStore at http://www.bn.com or from Amazon.com's e-Book store at http://www.amazon.com.

"The Acrobat eBook Reader is the only tool on the market that gives Mac and Windows users an interactive, graphically rich reading experience with the ability to print and navigate through the Web--all within the same interface," said Michael Looney, Adobe's senior director of eBooks.
