Marz's fusion of rap, hip-hop, and industrial-rock elements is the brainchild of former Ministry guitarist Zlatko "Bobby" Hukic. After recording Lung Fo Mo She [E-Magine] in his home studio, Hukic hired guitarists Louis Svitek and Pat De La Garza to cover 6-string duties on tour, so he could focus on fronting the band and singing.

Svitek's stage rig includes two Charvel Surfcasters, each loaded with Seymour Duncan JB pickups and strung with D'Addarios (gauged .010-.052). His pedalboard contains an MXR Micro Amp (used for clean boost) and a Morley A/B/Y box. The Morley's B side is routed to a Boss SD-2 Dual Overdrive, a Fender AX-12 chromatic tuner, a Morley Wah Volume pedal, and a rackmounted Rocktron Hush IICX noise reduction system. The splitter's A side is sent to the second input on the Hush IICX, and moves on to a Furman PL-Plus power conditioner, a BBE 422A Sonic Maximizer, a Roland GP-8 effects processor, and an Alesis Quadraverb. …
