Kenneth J. DePaola Jr. has been named vice president for advertiser marketing and sales at the Chicago Tribune. He will lead the department jointly with Dennis Grant, who earlier announced his intention to resign at year-end. DePaola most recently served as associate publisher of the Chicago Sun-Times, which he left this year. He joined the Sun- Times in 1981. "I've had the opportunity to admire and compete with the Chicago Tribune for 22 years," said DePaola.-- Mark Fitzgerald
