If you are looking for a more economical housing alternative, ALA has reserved a limited number of rooms at the University Village at Georgia State University. This is dorm housing, so it doesn't have the amenities of a hotel, but it is clean, safe and will have the Gale Group-sponsored shuttle buses, as well as a MARTA station three blocks away.

The University Village was built as part of the housing for the 1996 Summer Olympics, held in Atlanta. The rooms are situated into apartments, with each apartment containing a common area with living room and full kitchen. Each apartment has four single bedrooms. Each two bedrooms share a bath. Each person will be provided with linens and towels, with a linen change provided after the third day. The apartment is equipped with a live local telephone jack, but a telephone is not provided. This jack may be used for modem connection to the Internet, with an 800 or 888 dial-up number. …
