Dennis Kerslake is managing director of 141. Since starting his career in brand management with SmithKline Beecham his roles have included managing director of Brann, Barraclough Hall and Carlson.

Small, neat, carefully crafted and legible ... a positive joy to my eye. I have so much material here I am finding difficulty in selecting what to say.

He's very bright, creative, fastidious, detail-conscious (and how), has been known to argue (and how), and is something of a controller (the 'and how' was getting repetitious, but goes without saying).

Here is a man who really needs to know everything (don't approximate or fudge with him because detail is his middle name). The title 'The Grand Inquisitor' floats unbidden through my mind at this point.

The enlarged 'k' in the word whisk is a pointer to the fact that this chap is answerable only to himself.

His word endings are of particular interest and reflect the way he completes things (which is very well - this really is the ultimate 'finisher'). …
