Dear Readers,

In the long line of American heroes from the Founding Fathers to the founder of this magazine, there has been an unswerving commitment, determination and sacrifice to uphold what seem to some the simplest of notions and to others the noblest of ideals, as they protected, supported and defended a free press. We are part of that. For 17 years Insight on the News has done its best to shine the spotlight of truth into the darkest recesses of government and to bring hard-hitting articles and in-depth reports of national importance from Washington, the nation and the world.

Since 1985, the award-winning newsmen you have come to trust have garnered national and international attention for their investigative skills and praise from friend and foe alike. And they have inspired dozens of congressional, criminal and intelligence probes that have exposed wrongdoing and low ethics at the highest levels of government and in the worlds of high finance.
