Nimbus Releases ROMWARE/DBServ

Nimbus Information Systems, Inc. is now shipping ROMWARE/DBServ. The CD-ROM Database Server System, ROMWARE/DBServ is the next generation in custom CD-ROM application development, offering interface creation in any programming language. Publishers now have two choices: ROMWARE complete with built-in universal interface, or ROMWARE/DBServ for custom front-ends.

Interface development with ROMWARE/DBServ is programming language independent. Communication between the ROMWARE/DBServ Database Server and the user interface occurs through English-like messages in ASCII text format.

Developers have complete flexibility in the appearance and functionality of their interface with ROMWARE/DBServ. Any or all of the features found in ROMWARE can appear in a custom developed ROMWARE/DBServ application. …
