AIRLINE AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS -- GENERAL INFORMATION

ExpoExchange/ITS is ALA's travel management company for both hotel and airline reservations. As an ALI/CLA attendee or exhibitor, you are eligible for special airline and hotel rates. You can make your hotel reservations online through the ALA home page at http://www.ala.org/events/annual2003.

Choose "Travel & Accommodations" and follow the directions. The housing reservation form features SSL encryption to ensure the privacy of your information.

To reach the Expoexchange, The ALA Travel Desk, please call 1-800-424-5249 or 847-9402155 and identify yourself as an attendee or exhibitor of the ALA/CLA Annual Conference in Toronto. The ALA Travel Desk is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm CST. You may also make hotel reservations by mailing or faxing the housing reservation form located in this section.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS AND DISCOUNT INFORMATION

The ALA Travel Desk has negotiated exclusive airfare discounts to Toronto for all ALA/CLA members and exhibitors. Fly on the official airlines and save!.

United Airlines offers a 1(1% discount off the lowest applicable published fare when you book and ticket 30 days or more prior to travel. Save 5% off the lowest applicable published fare when you book within 29 days of travel. Applicable restrictions must be met.

Air Canada offers a 10% discount off the lowest applicable published fares when you book and ticket 60 days or more prior to travel. Save 5% off the lowest applicable published fare when you book within 59 days of travel. Applicable restrictions must be met.

Or take advantage of United Airline's Area fares or Air Canada's Zone fares with no Saturday night stay over required. Applicable restrictions must be met.

Full mileage credit for frequent flyer club members will be credited.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION AND INFORMATION

Pearson International Airport has a comprehensive ground transportation service. Toronto Transit Commission and GO Transit run buses between the airport and the city. Shuttle buses, taxis and limousines are also available from the Arrivals Level of the Terminals.

Airport Express Aeroport Shuttle

Buses pick up on the Arrivals Level of all terminals. All buses are wheelchair accessible and also have front kneeling doors for easier access. This is a 24 Hour service. Destinations include the downtown bus terminal, as well as several major downtown hotels. Connecting service to other downtown locations is also available for an additional fee. Fee schedule: Downtown to TPIA - $14.25 /return-$24.50. Students and seniors receive 10% off one way fares. Bus Services:

Toronto Transit Commission (TCC) has several buses that travel between Toronto and the Pearson Airport. Buses leave from the Arrivals level of Terminals 2 and 3, and a one-way fare is $2.25. For further information, visit http://www.city.toronto.on.ca/ttc/servic_to_airport.htm.
