Medscape Adds Patient Education Information

Medscape, Inc., a leading medical World Wide Web site, and Oryx Press, Inc., a leader in the field of consumer health publishing, have announced the signing of an agreement to publish Consumer Health USA on Medscape (http://www.medscape.com). This agreement makes Oryx the fifth member of Medscape's Publishers' Circle. Time, Inc., a division of Time-Warner, joined the Medscape Publishers' Circle earlier this summer.

The addition of Consumer Health USA to Medscape brings health care practitioners and consumers a source of clearly written, timely information about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases from AIDS to women's health issues.
