Community Behavioral Healthcare Conference

The National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare's 36th Annual Training Conference is April 8-11 in Orlando. Speakers include Mary Jane England, MD, chair of the Institute of Medicine's Committee on Crossing the Quality Chasm: Adaptation to Mental Health and Addictive Disorders. The conference will feature more than 60 interactive institutes and workshops encompassing clinical, operational, governance, and policy issues.


Clinical and Billing Software

Customizable EMR System

ChartShare offers a completely customizable electronic medical record (EMR) system, which allows users to have real-time access to patient records in a familiar and interactive format. All authorized users can access records simultaneously. A choice of input methods is available: handwriting, typing, voice recognition, or dictation. Users can not only access the entire patient chart, but other clinical links that provide ready information on medications, drug-drug interactions, medical conditions, patient education handouts, facility policies and bylaws, and more. All data are encrypted using the latest technology, and a full backup and recovery plan are incorporated into the server and network.

Lavender & Wyatt Systems, Inc.'s (LWSI) flagship product, Essentia, is an enterprise software solution that incorporates all behavioral health administrative, human service, and clinical information functions, providing a single point of reference for accounting, billing, client record maintenance, scheduling, and reporting. LWSI is now in the deployment phase of the Essentia portal enhancement, allowing for a true electronic medical record (EMR) across all aspects of the system.
