New Program Allows Web-based Retrieval

DocuLex has launched WebSearch 3, a web-based retrieval program to enable secure, instant document access from any location. With the program's new SQL database supporting substantial file volumes, it now serves as a document hosting facilitator for outsourcing dailyuse information and backup storage of a company's paper documentation transformed to electronic files. The program manages SSL remote security and retrieval of various file formats including MSOffice, PDF, XML, CSV, RTF and e-mail. It also provides activity tracking and retrieval logs assisting in compliance of privacy laws, including HIEAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.

E-Discovery Software Now Includes Analysis

Attenex® Corp. has released the latest version of its e-discovery software suite, Attenex Patterns®. This release integrates new content analysis features for identification of relevant information in large volumes of unstructured information such as e-mail or electronic documents. This version provides a social network view that displays e-mail communication flows to and from individuals or domains. Other new views include a timeline view that displays volume of information chronologically and cluster folders that dynamically organize the document collection based on concepts.

Stellent Upgrades Program For Unstructured Data

Stellent Inc.'s Content Components Division has introduced an updated version of Outside In technology. Outside In version 8.1 is a new release of the entire suite of Outside In products. Key features of the upgrade include Search Export - new PageML output schema; HTML Export - when used in combination with Content Access or Search Export, SearchML annotations can now be programmatically added, providing the ability to highlight, insert, replace, or delete text in the HTML output; XML Export - improved representation of PDF files in the FlexionDoc schema and support for conversion of embedded files allows more accurate XML postprocessing; Viewer Technol-ogy - antialiasing option on resized raster (bitmap) images; Image Export - when used in combination with Content Access or Search Export, SearchML annotations can now be programmatically added; and Transfor-mation Server - new graphical user interface to manage option files. …
