Inmagic Unveils Two New Genie Releases

Inmagic, Inc. announced the general release of version 1.0 of its Genie Express online catalog software. Genie Express is a Web-based application designed to manage and to provide Web-based access to a single database, catalog, or archive. According to the release, Genie Express supports traditional and nontraditional information assets, enables robust information discovery, promotes information sharing, and supports IT infrastructure through the use of open standards.

The company also announced the general release of version 2.1 of its Web-based Genie integrated library system. The new version provides increased search flexibility, improved serials work flow, enhanced report configurability, increased data flexibility in Items and Reserves, and more.
