TIME FOR A MORE EFFICIENT PROCESS

Several employees at The Finance Project, a not-for-profit research and consulting firm in Washington, D.C., USA, are on the road frequently. When it came time to file time and expense reports, they had to record the information on paper, and then mail or fax it to the main office. There, administrators entered the data into spreadsheets and manually calculated time-off balances and accruals. The process was "time-consuming and errorprone," says Terry Holthause, director of finance and administration for the group. "We also used to make our employees redo their timesheets because they were always forgetting holidays."

Looking to improve its time-tracking and reporting processes, the group turned to Replicon's Web TimeSheet, a web-based tool that tracks client billing, project costs and timeliness, and employee hours.
